Double opt-in is a process used by businesses to verify a person’s consent to receive marketing material.
What does double opt-in mean?
Many companies (Germany, for example) require double opt-in consent before sending marketing materials. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided when someone opts in to receive marketing materials. The email will contain a link or button that the individual must click to confirm their subscription.
