The EU-US Safe Harbor was an agreement between the European Union and the United States that allowed companies to transfer personal data between the two regions. It provided a way for companies to comply with the EU’s data protection laws when transferring personal data to the US. However, the Safe Harbor agreement was invalidated in 2015, leading to the development of the EU-US Privacy Shield.
